Spontaneity

Today was quite productive yet not at all planned.  Since I got off work early I decided to go to church seeing that I no longer attend mass.  Thank you Catholic Diocese.  So after spending a little more than an hour I happened to stroll into this particular room that has knick-knacks for people to purchase which goes toward the church.  At first nothing caught my eye but while reading through their books I saw one titled The Vatican’s Exorcists.  It couldn’t have been a more fitting title so of course I bought it.  It’ll be the perfect thing to read after watching one of my real-life crime dramas about someone being murdered.  When I was finished since I had nothing more to do I figured it was the absolute perfect day to give blood.  I haven’t in almost a year-and-a-half and my blood type is exactly what is needed due to the shortage at this time.  I also said a little prayer in hopes that my blood wouldn’t be deferred as it had once been several years ago.

Thankfully I had the required level to be able to give and it’s really a good feeling knowing I could help people who need it.  It’s also the perfect excuse to go home, put on my jammies and do nothing but watch television for the rest of the night which is exactly what I plan on doing.  In all the times I’ve given blood never once have I made an appointment.  I just go in and despite often times waiting it always seems to work out.  Sometimes when you strategize it never seem to turn out well yet other times when you do things spur-of-the-moment the end result is fantabulous!

Sweet Dreams which I’ll totally have once I begin reading my book.
